Private Equity

Wingate Private Equity partners with businesses that exhibit compelling growth potential, clear competitive advantages and have strong management teams.

Each investment we undertake leverages both our internal capabilities and the expertise of our extensive network. We take a hands-on approach to working with the management team of each investee business to build long-term sustainable value.

Our approach

We provide strategic value, financial capability and operational expertise to our investee companies, and apply the following key principles:

  • Partnership – we take a collaborative approach to optimise growth and value creation;
  • Alignment of interests – we co-invest in all of our investments;
  • A hands-on approach – we take an active role in shaping the financial, operational and strategic direction of each investee company; and
  • Agility – we assess, structure and execute opportunities in an agile and timely manner.

Our portfolio

We target Australia–based investment opportunities which are scalable, profitable and exhibit international expansion potential. Our primary sectors include Health and Wellbeing, Food and Beverage, Financial Services and Education.
