Wingate Investment Partners Trust

Wingate Investment Partners Trusts are a series of investment vehicles that co-invest with the shareholders, directors and management of Wingate.

Funds under management in the Wingate Investment Partners Trusts (WIPs) are now in excess of $300m and have provided investors with a smooth and stable investment experience, uncorrelated to volatile and uncertain financial markets.
The WIPs invest primarily in a diversified portfolio of secured debt with contractually determined outcomes.
Deployed funds have consistently yielded double-digit returns, and are expected to continue to do so, which make this investment particularly attractive in an environment of record-low interest rates.
The WIPs stand first in line for all Wingate debt investments and unitholders receive priority co-investment access where additional capacity is available.

Key Features:

  • High yield investment;
  • Quarterly income distributions;
  • Evergreen structure with the ability to exercise a liquidity option;
  • Nominal administration fee and no performance fee;
  • All investment administration performed by Wingate;
  • Access to a pool of investments, diversified across risk profile, geography and sector, delivering a lower risk portfolio effect; and
  • Priority access to eligible co-investment opportunities where there is available capacity.

Wingate Investment Partners Trusts are managed by proven and experienced investment professionals.

In particular, the investments are overseen by an Investment Committee with a mandate to:

  • Assess the risk and return profile of the investment opportunities brought to the Committee;
  • Make recommendations to the Trustee in relation to such opportunities; and
  • Ensure that all investments are in accordance with the Constitution.
